About the role

As a Senior Community Support Assistant (CSA), you’ll deliver high-quality, person-centred care to clients in the community while also supporting and mentoring other CSAs in your local hub. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Support Worker ready to step into a leadership role.

You’ll play an important part in promoting independence, wellbeing, and connection for the people we support.

  • Providing personal care and support tailored to individual client needs
  • Supporting clients to maintain independence and participate in their community
  • Assisting with basic clinical tasks (within your training and scope)
  • Mentoring and guiding other CSAs, including buddy shifts for new starters
  • Working closely with your team leader and clinical staff to ensure safe, quality care

About you 

You’re a compassionate and reliable support worker who is ready to take the next step in your career. You enjoy supporting others, not just clients, but your teammates as well.

To be successful, you will have:

  • Certificate III or IV in Aged Care / Individual Support or equivalent 
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in At Home Aged Care
  • Experience delivering person-centred care
  • Confidence working independently in the community
  • Strong communication and a positive team mindset
  • A current Victorian driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle
