The Head of Digital Marketing is a prominent leadership role with a focus on delivering highly effective digital platforms. This position has a diverse set of responsibilities across data, audiences, onsite performance, design, and Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) and manages a team of specialists to drive these capability areas.
Leading the digital marketing program in support of the University’s brand and acquisition marketing objectives, this position is a enabler of success. The role leads a team of specialists across analytics, audience management, design, content, experimentation and personalisation to drive performance optimisation. Along with leading this specialist team, the role is involved in setting strategy and directing execution for how the University creates fantastic, high-performing digital experiences. You’ll be constantly curious about how data and insights drive these experiences and have the team to back it up and turn those insights into action.
You’ll be involved in the technology as well as the operations for the team and how it works cross-functionally with other areas of the University. You’ll be an advocate for optimisation as well an expert in how the practices of digital marketing can support and influence broader strategic goals.
We’re looking for someone who is team-driven, with a focus on coaching as a way to lead a high-performing team. It’s important to have a growth mindset both for yourself and the people you work with. This is an exciting opportunity within the University, which you will be responsible for building and shaping as the function develops.
To be successful you will need:
- Experience in managing high-performing teams with a diverse skillset
- Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in how data (quantitative and qualitative) is set up to guide decision making and the creation of digital experiences
- Experience in managing digital transformation projects and guiding change
- Experience in Adobe Experience Cloud products or similar enterprise Digital Experience Platforms (Optimizely, Aquia, Salesforce etc)
- Expertise in digital customer experiences and creation of user journeys for consistent, end-to-end experiences across acquisition and retention life stages
