Key Responsibilities:

Work collaboratively with stakeholders, providing expert security guidance for new and existing technology initiatives.

Develop and maintain security frameworks, standards, and guidelines aligned with industry frameworks (eg. NIST, ISO27001) and in line with WorkCover’s security posture.

Conduct security risk assessments, business impact analyses, and vulnerability assessments to ensure WorkCover’s security risk remains within appetite.

Create and maintain secure architectural blueprints and design patterns.

Collaborate with project teams to deliver secure-by-design solutions.

Engage with business and technology stakeholders to promote security best practices across the organisation.
A bit about you:
-
10+ years in information security, including 5+ years in security architecture.

Expertise in AWS cloud security and AWS Well-Architected Framework.

Familiarity with ISO, NIST, CCM v4, SABSA, TOGAF.

Certifications such as CISSP and AWS Well Architected.

Experience with Microsoft security product suites (Entra, Defender, Intune, etc.).

Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills.
