Are you a passionate and experienced Safety & Wellbeing Advisor looking to make a real difference? Join our People Operations team in this Fixed Term - Full Time position and play a pivotal role in supporting the health, safety, and wellbeing of our valued employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage employee workers compensation claims, implementing effective and supportive injury management strategies.
- Support proactive incident management, including completion and closure of incident investigations
- Monitor and analyse safety data to provide practical insights, identify trends and risks, and inform safety-related decisions and communications.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to promote a positive safety culture and foster employee and leader engagement in safety and wellbeing initiatives.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on workplace health, safety, and wellbeing matters, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policies.
- Participate in the development and delivery of training programs, promoting awareness and understanding of safety and wellbeing practices.
To succeed in this role, you will have a relevant tertiary qualification in Occupational Health and Safety, Human Resources, Injury Management and Return to Work, or a related field, along with 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, combined with a proactive and solution-oriented approach, are essential.
