Work closely with the Group Property Director to develop and plan the group wide Retail Property strategy to support expansion, optimization and brand positioning in line with the Group`s strategic goals. Delivery through effective stakeholder management and maintaining a cross-functional working relationship with key internal and external stakeholders
The Key Performance Areas below include but are not limited to:
Growth Strategy
Maintain master Growth Strategy Document and advise on improving the way of working
Engage with internal Brand stakeholders re Brand Contractual obligations
Plan and communicate Growth Strategy planning sessions by engaging with both internal and external stakeholders
Prepare and present high level professional and impactful presentations to internal and external key stake holders
Store Development
Provide guidance and assistance on the Growth Strategy to enable detailed planning by Retail Property role players, into 3 - 5 year Store Development Plans
Develop and maintain brand playbooks to assist effective site selection and identification
Ensure effective and timely engagement with Host Brand on new sites site submittals to ensure first time approvals
Maintain regular tracking, review and communications to update on progress made vs store development plan
Maintain and manage all Alshaya systems in line with company policy.
Ensure all documentation, records and Property data is organized and backed up/secure.
Assess / improve the functionality of Group Property Department processes and system
Assist in the Perigon Live development, evolution and improvement of the data system
Review and advice on all areas of improvement
Knowledge:
Bachelor’s degree in commerce preferably from an accredited university. Professional body membership
Experience
Total 5 – 10 years’ experience and exposure to retail property development – preferably in strategy and planning capacity
