Job Summary: The Warehouse Services Associate provides assistance with logistical activities and other support services.
Additional Department Summary: Maintains correct records in regards to reports of surveys and reports of transfers. Works with auditors to locate items that have university, federal, or state ownership and makes sure that all federal and state items are tagged with red labels. Makes sure that the tagging of all new purchases are current and the purchase order book is current at all times. Attends surplus sales and tracks the lot numbers, bid amounts, and bidder names. After sales are complete, reviews receipts from the sales and makes adjustments to the department's inventory.
Must keep the University vehicles and central receiving neat, clean, and organized at all times. Must help to maintain a safe and secure workplace environment in accordance with the University and the departmental guidelines. Must be able to maintain regular attendance requirements. Must be able to lift, handle, and maneuver the tools, materials, and the supplies that are required to complete the job successfully.
Required Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED.
Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Must have valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 19 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report that is in compliance with University policies. Applicants under the age of 21 will have some driving restrictions.
Final candidates must submit to and successfully pass a post-offer drug screen.
Skills and Knowledge: Excellent customer service skills.
