Job Summary: The Protocol Analyst II provides intermediate expertise and support for the intake. Leads pre-review, and tracking of new research protocols, amendments, and continuing reviews of protocols. Supports post approval monitoring program and the reliance process. Provides guidance, assistance, and support to research faculty, staff, administration, and leadership.
Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of research integrity, compliance, policy, and/or regulations experience; OR master's degree.
Skills and Knowledge: Advanced knowledge of higher education policies and research regulations. Advanced technical knowledge and experience with electronic research database applications, data management systems, and electronic workflow systems.
Preferred Qualifications: At least two years of experience in healthcare, higher education administration, research compliance, or regulatory positions. Eligibility to sit for the Certified IRB Professional (CIP) credential examination.
