Job Summary: The HR Professional Development Specialist I provides less complex training, instructional design, and Learning Management System (LMS) support for all University staff and faculty under close supervision. Contributes to the design, coordination, and delivery of engaging training programs that enhance employee skills and performance. Provide course management and user access support within LMS. Works closely with experienced trainers and subject matter experts to create impactful learning experiences.
Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and some experience.
Skills and Knowledge: Strong communication and presentation skills. Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design basics. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.). Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in training, instructional design, or a related area. Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or e-learning tools. Exposure to training evaluation methods and feedback analysis. Interest in pursuing professional development in training or HR. Experience with basic project coordination or event planning.
