Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm


Job Summary: The Instructional Technologist III uses pedagogically sound principles to assist faculty with the integration of technology into instruction to enhance teaching and learning. Provides leadership to the team. Collaborates with the faculty development and learning resources administrative staff to provide instructional technology information and resolve issues. May train, assist, or supervise entry level staff.


Additional Department Summary: Supports education and outreach projects and cross-functional activities related to instructional technology and technology accessibility. Creates documentation for specific instructional technology and leads training activities related to those tools. Provides consultations regarding the pedagogically sound integration of technology into instruction and instructional design best practices. Keeps abreast of trends and research related to learning and instructional technology. Collaborates with instructional technology support professionals and staff in CIT and other academic areas. Designs and creates engaging graphic content for printed and online content. Assists with administrative tasks including creating and maintaining event calendar and web content, track engagement metrics, and monitor analytics.  


Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and four (4) years of instructional technology experience; OR master's degree and two (2) years of instructional technology experience.


Skills and Knowledge: Experience in the creation of training or instructional materials. Ability to work well in a team environment and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and customer service skills. 


Preferred Qualifications: Two (2) years of professional training or teaching experience. Experience working with faculty in a higher education environment.
