Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm


Job Summary: The Child Development Resource Center Specialist develops and implements training and technical assistance for childcare providers and parents in a 12 county region. Assumes responsibility for one or more of the following aspects of program operation: The Learning Center, The Rolling Resources Van, and/or General Training and Technical Assistance. Oversees resources associated with programs. Prepares and conducts training for early childhood providers in a variety of areas.


Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in child development, early childhood/elementary education, or Family Studies and one (1) year of experience in Child Development, Parent Education, or direct service with families; OR master's degree or higher in child development, early childhood/elementary education, or Family Studies.


Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Must have valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 19 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report that is in compliance with University policies. Applicants under the age of 21 will have some driving restrictions.
