The AMSTI Materials Worker assists with the daily operation of the materials center. Constructs and refurbishes science and math teaching kits per the specifications of AMSTI-UA and AMSTI-SDE. Assists with inventory control through stocking kits and kit supplies, maintaining stock, and rotating stock. Assists with and maintains the organization of the materials center to ensure efficient use of space and safe storage of materials. Maintains a safe work environment.
Associate Director In State and Transfer Recruitment - 524314
The Associate Director of In-State and Transfer Recruitment provides leadership, direction, and supervision over the team that recruits prospective and transfer students within Alabama. Supervises Manager of Regional Recruitment. Creates training and professional development programs. Contributes to and participates in the creation of recruitment plans for in-state regions.
Life Safety Technician III - 524354
The Life Safety Technician III serves as a work leader in the maintenance, repair, and installation of life safety equipment (smoke alarms, exit lights, emergency lighting, lightning protection systems, etc.).
Assistant Director Athletic Tutoring - 524357
The Assistant Director Athletic Tutoring manages the delivery of tutoring programs for individuals and groups of students. Hires, trains, and supervises staff, graduate, and student tutors. Provides day-to-day management of the Athletic Tutorial Service Program. Collaborates with campus partners and colleagues to develop and implement a comprehensive array of tutorial and supplemental instruction programs and services to support academic success. Develops innovative programming to enhance academic support of University student athletes. Tracks adherence to NCAA, University, and SEC rules. Identifies and implements technology-based services to enhance and expand online offerings and tracking.
Administrative Assistant II - Geography - 524052
The Administrative Assistant II provides administrative support for the operations of unit. Performs moderately complex and well documented administrative tasks. Acts as office liaison/receptionist. Receives and routes phone calls, emails, and/or guests. Maintains files and enters data. Drafts and sends communications on supervisor/departmental staff behalf. Reconciles P-Card/Concur for other staff/faculty against departmental budget. Performs some simple budget monitoring/entry. Operates standard office equipment such as personal computers, copiers, fax machines, etc.
College IT Support Technician - 524199
The College IT Support Technician provides service to faculty, staff, and students utilizing college computer systems. Performs basic on-site troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance involving computer hardware and software.
Information System Security Manager - 524303
The Information System Security Manager leads the Research Information Security and Engineering team. Oversees and provides direct support to classified and controlled unclassified program requirements. Reports to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and works closely with the Office of Research and Economic Development. Provides incident response (IR) for both cybersecurity-based and disclosure-based incidents. Conducts assessments of systems and networks within the networking environment or enclave and identify where those systems and networks deviate from acceptable configurations, enclave policy, or local policy. Establishes strict program control processes to ensure the mitigation of risks and supports obtaining certification and accreditation of systems and assists in the implementation of the required government policies and regulations.
Research Assistant III - 524305
The Research Assistant III assists with research work in support of a major research project under minimal supervision. Orders equipment and supplies. Sets up equipment. Performs experiments. Monitors results. Collects data. Prepares support material. May supervise students or other support workers assigned to the research project.
Assistant Director ACCESS Data and Enrollment - 524307
The Assistant Director for ACCESS Data and Enrollment provides leadership to staff responsible for the data reporting and data analysis in ACCESS. Oversees data to inform course delivery timelines, resource allocation, and student and school support. Leads the efforts in serving the needs of an average of 10,000+ students and 250+ teachers through the use of data. Oversees the enrollment processes that allows for the successful enrollment of 10,000+ yearly enrollments into ACCESS courses. Provides training, oversight, and leadership in the area of data management, analysis, and synthesis in an effort to serve the needs of ACCESS stakeholders more effectively. Manages partnerships with local schools and supports the implementation of virtual school policies and procedures.
Executive Assistant I - 524309
The Executive Assistant I provides administrative support for a Dean, Assistant/Associate Vice President, or position of comparable size, scope, and complexity. Performs complex and non-routine administrative tasks. Acts as liaison of the executive and their office. Drafts and sends communications on executive’s behalf. Manages the office of the executive to include supervision of office staff. Oversees maintenance of all files, records, and reports. Oversee and works on special projects.
Communications Specialist III - 524310
The Communications Specialist III writes and edits communications for a college, division, and/or the University under minimal supervision. Develops and implements plans, activities, and tactics to support the goals of assigned areas. Coordinates the production of materials and resources through a variety of platforms, including digital and physical mediums. Participates in planning and execution of special projects to support the assigned area's overall development and marketing strategies.

Sales Associate I - 524315
The Sales Associate I performs various retail support activities under close supervision. Receives, unpacks, restocks, prices, shelves, stages, and sells merchandise. Operates cash register to complete sales. Provides customer service to patrons.
Automotive Technician I - 524316
The Automotive Technician I repairs and maintains automobiles, trucks, and tractors, golf carts, mules, trailers, and other equipment in accordance with standard trade practices. Assists with vehicle cleanup, changing batteries, hoses and lines, repairing flat tires, installing wiper blades, and assisting customers with fueling.

The Manager of Purchasing Card Services assists in the daily administration of the Purchasing Card Services department to ensure all responsibilities are executed in a timely manner.
Assistant Director Emergency Management - 524321
The Assistant Director of Emergency Management assists in the emergency preparedness planning for the University. Manages emergency management phases of prevention and mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery. Coordinates senior administrators and stakeholders to develop, review, update, and maintain internal emergency management plans. Assists with maintaining emergency management certifications and accreditations. Manages the training and exercise program for emergency management.
Accountant I - 524322
The Accountant I prepares, reconciles, and audits budgets under general supervision. Prepares financial reports, invoices, schedules, and/or statements. Completes journal entries. Reviews, analyzes, and approves expenditures. Determines fund balances. Ensures compliance with applicable laws, University policies, and procedures.
