Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm


Job Summary: The Athletic Compliance Coordinator ensures that University and departmental staff, coaches, student-athletes, and representatives of athletics interest abide by NCAA and SEC rules and regulations. Monitoring compliance related issues. Manages activities.


Additional Department Summary: Ensures all incoming prospective student-athletes are eligible and admitted to the University. Ensures University and departmental staff, coaches, student-athletes, and representatives of athletics interest abide by NCAA and SEC rules and regulations pertaining to initial eligibility and admissions.


Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher and some intercollegiate athletics compliance experience.


Skills and Knowledge: Knowledge of NCAA and SEC regulations. Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of constituencies. Ability to manage time efficiently to effectively perform multiple tasks. Ability to work independently. Knowledge of personal computers and standard software programs to include database skills and word processing skills. Ability to work well with others. Ability to prioritize, delegate, and monitor all steps of the work process.


Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of, or experience with, operations of an institution of higher education, preferably a Division I institution.
