For every child, a childwood

The position of Salesforce Development & PCI Compliance at the GS7 level in Chile Country Office (CHCO), in the section of Private Sector Fundraising & Partnerships, reports to the Fundraising Manager P4 in order to ensure transversal service  of the CRM (Salesforce) and further developments fundraising needs for PFP. This position plays a key role in continuous improvement and Security Protocols PCI compliance, fostering ongoing process optimization and ensuring compliance with security standards across all technology platforms and data management operations.

Under the supervision of Fundraising Manager P4, the incumbent will be responsible to lead and deliver new and on-going development and implementation of systems and functionalities for Salesforce and it’s connected systems which include the current CMS. The position also involves working with the development and support teams as well as internal and other external stakeholders. The incumbent is also responsible for the correct functioning of the CRM. The incumbent will also lead the maturity and optimal usage of SalesForce (and all of it’s clouds) by Country Office. Finally, this position will be to ensure the PFP Chile operation works under PCI compliance regulation and any other data security protocol working close with ICT Associate and Operation Manager.

How can you make a difference? 

1. Product Owner
a. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to identify real business needs. Define processes, identify pain points, and propose solutions that leverage technology.
b. Analyze and document business requirements, connecting real needs with technical solutions.
c. Translate requirements into specifications understandable by technical teams through the creation of user stories.
d. Build and prioritize the functional backlog with the development and technical support teams, aligning each user story with strategic revenue and efficiency objectives.
e. Plan regional releases and coordinate development and feature deliveries with Development and support teams, UNICEF Global, and local teams.
f. Validate deliveries at the functional level, ensuring they meet acceptance criteria and add value given the respective user stories.
g. Manage budget and projection for SES COST at Sales, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud platforms and add-ons.
h. Understand and design scalable data structures: relationships between Salesforce objects and external sources.
i. Assist the PFP Chief to analyze and discover new technologies or platforms to improve our fundraising operation

2. Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud Administrator
a. Configure licenses, permission sets, and public groups within the organization.
b. Create and maintain custom objects, fields, validation rules, page layouts, and record types (such as the Lead Object, Task Welcome, etc.)
c. Manage environments (PRD and UAT sandbox) and promote good deployment practices.
d. Maintain control over synchronized data between both clouds, Marketing and Sales, to ensure all the data necessary for successful Journeys.
e. Build audience segmentation for Marketing Cloud campaigns, targeting retention or acquisition, through Data Extensions or Entry Data.
f. Coordinate and support the use of Journey Builder to automate personalized emails (emails, SMS, WhatsApp) based on customer stage or business rules.
g. Supervise contracted technical support. Assuring bugs reported by users are diagnosed, analyzed, prioritized tracked and resolved.

3. Monitoring and coordination on fundraising middleware platforms (Salesforce Data Architect – CMS)

a. Monitoring in a frequently basis the adequate functioning of the fundraising platforms, watching closely their performance and their middleware connections.
b. Report and coordinate the right technology solution with support of the developing partners.
c. Track user report incidents and their solving to ensure that the fundraising operation is not impacted.
d. Cultivate positive relationships with all vendors, integrating partners and users associated with the fundraising platforms.
e. Develop an agile working methodology with all internal and external stakeholders of each platform to maximize performance within budget.
f. Understand the relational data model (SES CORE's) and its performance implications to scale UNICEF's data architecture, impacting collection.
g. Lead and support the implementation of middleware integrations.
h. Lead and manage CMS technical team to ensure correct integration with the CRM.

4. CRM security and PCI compliance within PFP operation
a. Regularly monitor the PCI framework
b. Develop a monitoring and security procedure to ensure that all PCI compliance necessities are working properly.
c. Lead the closure of PCI gaps with all stakeholders.
d. Lead penetration tests and ensure compliance with data security policies.
e. Monitor CRM security controls (Login IP Ranges, Changes or adjustments in production, Session Settings, etc.)
f. Ensure compliance with good security, privacy, and data governance practices.

5. Administrative tasks and others

a. Manage quotation and billing processes to all middleware platforms.
b. Manage the daily work and administration with the developing partners.
c. Handle various administrative tasks effectively.
d. Others as fundraising operations requires according his/her functions and skills

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…

Minimum requirements:

  • Education:

    Completion of secondary education required; preferably supplemented by university studies in one or more of the disciplines relevant in the following areas: project management, business analytics, science/engineering, or information technology, or electrical engineering, or equivalent professional work experience in business intelligence and salesforce development.

  • Work Experience:

    A minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience is required.

    At least 3 years of experience in managing, developing, and implementing Salesforce Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud and Community Cloud.

    Experience in other Fundraising CRMs and it’s developments and integrations may be exceptionally accepted.

    At least 3 years of working experience in Project Management, Business Analyst, Business Intelligence.

    Proven experience in API architecture.

    Experience leading and coordinating functional and technical teams.

    Project Management and people skills.

    Experience applying Agile methodologies is considered an asset

    Experience in Fundraising Operations and knowledge of Transbank, PCI compliance and debit platforms is an asset.

    Technical Knowledge:

    SQL or SOQL knowledge

    Certifications as Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud administrator courses is an asset.

    Proven ability to effectively manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • A bachelor’s degree from a recognized academic institution in a field relevant to the position may be considered to compensate for three (3) years of experience in case the candidate lacks the required experience.

  • A master’s degree from a recognized academic institution in a field relevant to the position may be considered to compensate for an additional two (2) years (in addition to the three years from above, totaling 5 years).

  • Language Requirements: 

    Fluency in Spanish and English is required.

  • Relevant experience at country level, particularly in development, fragile settings and humanitarian contexts.
