The WASH Specialist (P-3) reports to the Chief of WASH (P-5) and is responsible for supporting the planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of UNICEF's WASH programme in Sudan. The incumbent provides technical and programmatic leadership for donor-funded and emergency WASH interventions, including the Dutch-funded project, KfW-supported programmes, and other humanitarian response activities. The Specialist ensures programme quality, compliance, and achievement of results by leading performance monitoring, coordinating implementing partners, supporting infrastructure rehabilitation and service delivery, and contributing to donor reporting, risk management, and results-based management.
