The UNICEF Serbia country office operates from a state-owned building provided by the Government of the Republic of Serbia. The Housekeeping Associate's role is integral to upholding the positive image and effective operation of the office, ensuring that the premises reflect the organisation’s values and commitment to excellence.
How can you make a difference?
- Perform daily office cleaning functions, including washing, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting high-touch surfaces.
- Clean floors, furniture, walls, doors, windows, and all office fixtures and equipment including refrigerators and microwave devices.
- Empty and clean waste bins regularly and ensure proper waste disposal in line with office procedures.
- Maintain overall cleanliness and orderliness of all office premises, including common areas and sanitary facilities.
- Clean and prepare meeting rooms (including refreshment water and coffee), before and after use, ensuring a presentable and functional environment.
- Yard cleaning as well as car parking areas including UNICEF exhibition windows and table and chairs in the garden.
- Maintain and clean all cleaning tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Prepare the office for seasonal changes, including minor relevant adjustments as needed.
- Water indoor and outdoor plants and ensure the upkeep of greenery within the premises.
- Monitor stock levels of cleaning and hygiene supplies and promptly inform the supervisor when replenishment is required.
- Identify and report any damages or maintenance issues to the Operations Associate.
- Perform any other duties within the functional profile as may be required for the efficient functioning of the Office and the Organization.
