Responsibilities

 

  • Develop a country IKEA web presence strategy and plan that covers content, communication, tools and resources on the IKEA website, all digital platforms/devices and social media;
  • Lead the digital team to implement full plan and secure efficient and effective integration and optimization of all IKEA communication and commercial activities present on the web;
  • Establish, monitor and maintain the web channel operations/releases, i.e. content, tools, functionality, in line with the global web channel on the IKEA website and all digital platforms/devices;
  • Define and manage local projects and liaise with the global web organization to secure integration;
  • Secure the implementation of the country social media strategy together with other functions (e.g. external communication, commercial PR) and the implementation of IKEA catalogue strategy;
  • Define governance (e.g. who does what?) and manage processes and web-related brief cycles (especially those related to content creation). The brief cycle includes receiving briefs, defining the competences needed to execute the brief (e.g. technical, usability, communication), providing solutions and managing implementation;
  • Responsible for budget management and co-operate with all functions involved in the execution of the marketing and commercial plans, especially in the dimensions of content creation and optimization, content management and media synergies and usability;
  • Develop and monitor media plans – work closely with agencies to create competitive media advantages for the brand and develop out integrated and valuable media plan
  • Working closely with external working partners, e.g. media agency, web agency, social media agency etc, for owned, earned and paid digital media
  • Working closely with internal partners, e.g. Online Sales team, Store, IT, Sales team etc, to plan and support the marketing activities and campaigns
  • Monitor consumer behaviors and trends in relation to digital media to create relevant insights for all stakeholders;

 

Competencies

  • Degree holder in Marketing with 8+ years of experience in Marketing / Mass Media / Business Administration and experience covering areas such as SEM, SEO, online marketing, social media and mobile communication;
  • Strong analytical, strategic and creative-thinking skills and capable in creating and expressing statistical and communication insights;
  • Up-to-date knowledge of global marketing trends, online technologies and applications (e.g. search, social, mobile & e-commerce);
  • An energetic team player who is self-motivated, creative, attention to details, able to work under pressure and enjoying achieving business results in a dynamic environment;
  • Good knowledge of content and site management systems/image editing software used and basic code knowledge and a good understanding of HTML, CSS;
  • Demonstrate the ability in project and process management;
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills in Chinese and English;
  • Passionate about retailing industry in home furnishing, IKEA Values and digital landscape.
