BI Functional Specialist – (BW Business Warehouse)

The incumbent will act as Subject Matter Expert on the associated application to works with Senior Specialist to ensure that optimal, robust and sustainable solutions are designed using the SAP BW application to best meet the company strategic plan and business imperatives. Also to assist in application strategy and blueprint, application improvement, vendor management, and other initiatives.

The Job

• Act as the Subject Matter Expert for BI and able to answer business related BI questions from business users
• Creation / modification of functional specifications, work with BI technical team to deliver system improvement changes
• Carry out testing activities for bug fixes and system changes
• Carry out training with users
• Drive change across the business with application expertise
• Able to create simple queries in order to help business
• Effectively communicate and facilitate key design decisions with senior business and IT stakeholders
• Adhere to vendor management processes/procedures; and contribute to vendor scorecard
• Build and maintain repositories for deliverables, methodologies and development documents
• Adhere to group standards and drive compliance in the country
• Deliver application related projects, including integration components, application changes, patches, upgrades and new requirements

The Person

• Degree holder in Business or related subjects
• Project experience in SAP ERP implementation is an advantage
• 1+ yr experience in SAP ERP FI/MM/SD, Vistex  
• 3 + yrs experience in FMCG, Retail Industries
• SAP BW / BO exposure is an advantage
• Strong analytical mind with good communication & interpersonal skill
• Customer-oriented; can work independently and deliver multiple small to medium size initiatives or projects
• Fluency in spoken and written English
• Able to speak Mandarin is bonus
