The incumbent will be a core team member to support BAU for SAP FICO and implementation and change management for Lease Management System, Treasury Management System and other SAP FICO related projects.

The Job

  • Support the project management and take on business process owner responsibilities for finance projects, work closely with IT and Country Finance teams to:
    • Facilitate the collection and consolidation of the user requirement, define a group process and solution with project team, group and country finance.
    • Ensure that approved business requirements are properly developed, tested and understood by users
    • Identified, qualified, and escalated project risks and issues according to the group and project guidelines
    • Ensure the processes, principles and guidelines are properly documented
  • Implement an efficient process change consistent with best practices
  • Reviews and leads the application of changes in internal operations or system application to mitigate financial risk and ensure compliance to accounting policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the system contains a right data and reports in the system development to facilitate the benchmarking and financial analysis across countries
  • Support the development of suggestions and initiatives on new systems, at business unit, country and Group levels to fulfill new business requirements
  • Define and maintain the finance standard operating procedure, communicate and coaches different teams on financial information systems, including the process, functionalities, advantages and limitations
  • Recommends improvements to process, procedures and relevant systems integration, drives the adoption of simple methods and leads the implementation

The Person

  • 5-8 years of experience in accounting, preferable in retail, manufacturing or FMCG industry and with project management experience
  • University graduate with a degree preferably in Accounting or Finance
  • Student or qualified member of HKICPA or equivalent (prior experience in external auditing will be an advantage)
  • Attention to details, mature and committed with the ability to work independent and under pressure
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Experience with leading discussions with senior management
  • Proficient in using SAP Finance, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good command of both written and spoken English, Mandarin and Cantonese
