Responsibilities

  • Creating the IKEA store business plan based on the country business plan, and work with the team to develop and implement a clear IKEA Food action plan which is followed up regularly
  • Maximize commerciality in order to grow sales as well as the conversion rate and average ticket and increase profitability according to the goals
  • Ensure our customers are always in focus and strive to make them smile. Meet and serve our guests showing empathy and care, listen and support them with an attitude based on the IKEA values
  • Actively to make the IKEA store successful and high performing, today and tomorrow by ensuring that we attract visitors, achieve sales growth and reasonable profitability, customers and co-workers satisfaction as well as excellent operational performance as measured through our defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Utilize relevant reporting tools, such as profit and loss, Navision, Functional Commercial Review, the IKEA Customer Satisfaction Survey, Food Safety Audit and VOICE, in order to develop the IKEA business, and the team
  • Work as the Store Commercial team and support all marketing and in-store activities by integrating the Swedish celebrations and yearly focus area into the store’s Commercial Calendar
  • Responsible to the development of the team and the succession planning. Secure to provide trainings to ensure all co-workers understand the IKEA Concept and other key guidelines, and how they have an impact on their specific roles
  • Ensure a safe and healthy working environment for co-workers in accordance with local legal requirements and established IKEA standards
  • Operate IKEA Food in accordance with legislation, in accordance with IKEA Quality and Food Safety requirements and promote a “safety first” culture where co-workers are encouraged to raise and discuss concerns and solutions
  • Secure optimal productivity by ensuring a staff planning process aiming for the right number of competent co-workers, at the right times, in the right places to meet customers’ needs

Requirements

  • Previous management experience in food and beverage role with advanced knowledge of F&B food safety practice and operation such as HACCP/ISO
  • Knowledge in F&B trend in global and local market
  • Tactical thinker and ability to see how IKEA Food contributes to increasing the overall performance of an IKEA store
  • Ability to manage a high-volume and vibrant retail environment. Always lead and develop people to excellence in performance
  • A passionate leader inspired by the IKEA core leadership capabilities who strives to continuously develop as a leader
  • Ability to organize, plan and priorities and takes responsibility and can delegate when necessary
  • Communicates well with others and is able to influence and cooperate with different departments
  • Macau permanent identity is required
