  • Quantitative Skills Coordinator in Malibu Campus

    The Quantitative Skills Coordinator will be responsible for integrating the Student Success Center's mission with the goal of helping students improve their quantitative reasoning skills as an essential pillar for a strong start to a successful academic experience. This position would advance goals 1 and 5 of the University Strategic Plan: 1) Advance student learning and superior scholarship and 5) Develop resources that support the aspiration to be a premier, global Christian university. Additionally, the position contributes to the University mission by recognizing the students at the center of the academic enterprise and a person of infinite dignity. During one-on-one, appointment-based sessions, the Quantitative Skills Coordinator will support students in the following courses/topics: (1) Calculus (including derivatives, antiderivatives, multivariable optimization, graphing); (2) Probability (including combinations, permutations, counting principles); (3) Algebra and Trigonometry (various functions, factoring methods, trigonometry functions, graphing); and Statistics

  • Principal Faculty, Director of Research and Evaluation in Calabasas Campus

    The developing* Physician Assistant (PA) Program within the College of Health Science (PCHS) at Pepperdine University seeks a candidate to serve in a 12-month faculty appointment as a principal faculty with administrative duties as the Director of Research and Evaluation role for its graduate program, the Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. Depending on the qualifications and experience of the applicant, the candidate may be offered either a tenure-track or clinical faculty appointment. The director of research and evaluation has primary responsibility for the development and coordination of the research course series in the curriculum and directing all assessment, evaluation and program review related activities for the PA program. In collaboration with the dean, the director supports the program in meeting the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) accreditation standards, Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) Senior College & University Commission (WSCUC) WSCUC accreditation standards, and directs the self-study report process. Other duties include teaching, scholarship, academic advising, service, admissions, and professional activities.

  • Payroll Specialist in Malibu Campus

    The Payroll Specialist is responsible for maintaining payroll systems and processing employee paychecks in a timely and accurate manner, while ensuring complete confidentiality and providing excellent customer service. The Payroll Specialist processes biweekly and monthly payrolls, produces off cycle checks, voided checks and bank returns, reviews timesheets, hours and pay data for accuracy, determines and reconciles payroll discrepancies, performs data entry for all payroll transactions and deductions, manages and processes employee garnishments, assists with year-end processes, handles direct deposit data and requests, maintains proper payroll records and employee personnel files, writes queries and runs reports to distribute payroll data to University departments and respond to employee payroll inquiries. The Payroll Specialist offers training and guidance to employees on use of timekeeping system and other payroll self-service functions, and engages in continuing education to stay informed of federal and state regulations and ensure payroll compliance.

  • Director of Marketing and Communications, Seaver College in Malibu Campus

    The Director of Marketing for Pepperdine’s Seaver College reports to the Senior Director of Client Relations and serves as the primary communications, brand, and growth leader, acting as a strategic partner to the Dean, faculty, and school leadership. This essential role is the dedicated co-architect of high-quality, data-informed strategies that ensure the college’s objectives align seamlessly with the university’s brand, mission, and long-term vision. The Director is accountable for the integrated planning and execution of all marketing and communications efforts across three key areas: School Marketing (collaborating with centralized enrollment marketing, web, communications, and creative teams to drive applications and funnel development through print, digital, social, web, and other channels); Profile-Raising (strengthening the school’s brand through PR, rankings, and multimedia content); and Advancement and Alumni Engagement (supporting the relevant advancement/ alumni engagement leaders in the college as well as the centralized alumni communications team). As the central point of contact for Seaver, the Director manages all constituent support requests, utilizing research and analysis to improve strategies and ensure the timely delivery of strategic and tactical support. This role is crucial in reinforcing the university’s Christ-centered commitment in external and internal communications.

    The Video Editor is responsible for providing post-production support on Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) videos created for Pepperdine University. The Video Editor will demonstrate advanced video design principles with a comprehensive understanding of industry practices as an experienced digital communication professional. The role will be responsible for producing, designing, and delivering moderate to complex videos that tell the Pepperdine story while maintaining brand and voice. The Video Editor will possess a clear command of the complete video production process, specializing in post-production editing, color grading, sound and motion graphics. Candidates will have a high level of brand & design sense, self-sufficiency, and strong communication skills and be able to take creative direction in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment. Integrated Marketing Communications is directly tasked with supporting the University's mission and strategic plan by building brand equity, elevating the University's national reputation, providing strong and consistent institutional message leadership, and implementing effective integrated marketing and communication strategies. The Video Editor fulfills a central role in helping the department accomplish its goals.
