Director of Marketing and Communications, Graduate School of Education and Psychology in Remote
The Director of Marketing for the Pepperdine Graduate School of Education and Psychology (GSEP) reports to the Senior Director of Client Relations and serves as the primary communications, brand, and growth leader, acting as a strategic partner to the Dean, faculty, and school leadership. This essential role is the dedicated co-architect of high-quality, data-informed strategies that ensure the college’s objectives align seamlessly with the university’s brand, mission, and long-term vision. The Director is accountable for the integrated planning and execution of all marketing and communications efforts across three key areas: School Marketing (collaborating with centralized enrollment marketing, web, communications, and creative teams to drive applications and funnel development through print, digital, social, web, and other channels); Profile-Raising (strengthening the school’s brand through PR, rankings, and multimedia content); and Advancement and Alumni Engagement (supporting the relevant advancement/ alumni engagement leaders in the college as well as the centralized alumni communications team). As the central point of contact for GSEP, the Director manages all constituent support requests, utilizing research and analysis to improve strategies and ensure the timely delivery of strategic and tactical support. This role is crucial in reinforcing the university’s Christ-centered commitment in external and internal communications.

The Assistant Director of Graduate Enrollment Marketing plays a key role in supporting the execution of Pepperdine University’s enrollment marketing strategy, advancing the institution’s mission to prepare students for lives of purpose, service, and leadership. The role also assists with PR efforts, rankings visibility, event promotion, and the development of print and premium materials. Mathematics Proficiency Tutor in Malibu Campus
The Mathematics Proficiency Tutor will be responsible for integrating the Student Success Center's mission with the goal of helping students improve their quantitative reasoning skills as an essential pillar for a strong start to a successful academic experience. This position would advance goals 1 and 5 of the University Strategic Plan: 1) Advance student learning and superior scholarship and 5) Develop resources that support the aspiration to be a premier, global Christian university. The Alumni Engagement Coordinator contributes to collective efforts to execute strategic initiatives to enhance alumni engagement. This role supports the development of a vibrant alumni community, and seeks to further the strategic goals of the Alumni Affairs Strategic Plan, the Advancement Strategic Plan, the Ascend Together University Strategic Plan, our school Deans, and future strategic directives. This Coordinator actively promotes the mission of Pepperdine University Alumni Affairs to elevate, celebrate, and honor our alumni. Reporting to and supporting the Director of Alumni Engagement for the Graduate School of Education and Psychology (GSEP), and supporting the Director of Alumni Engagement for the Pepperdine Graziadio Business School (PGBS), this position may evolve with the dynamic strategic planning of Advancement and Alumni Affairs, but is initially expected to include: Supporting Alumni Affairs directors—primarily for GSEP and PGBS but also periodically for other Alumni Affairs leaders—in the designing, planning, executing, storytelling, and reporting/analysis of alumni engagement programs, events, and resources; Marketing and communication support including the building and sending of email newsletters, social media posts, and other forms of outreach; Extending collaborative support on behalf of Alumni Affairs to various Pepperdine departments/faculty/staff for programs and events that emphasize alumni engagement; Helping manage data and analytics related to alumni engagement.
