Senior Research Scientist in New York
The Consortium for Policy Research in Education at Teachers College (CPRE-TC), Columbia University, is seeking a part-time Senior Research Scientist to conduct a study of ongoing monitoring and evaluation of a research project focused on teaching residents. The part-time Senior Research Scientist will oversee the entire study progress, ensuring updates to the IRB, lead the qualitative portion of the research, and conduct its analysis. The qualitative part of the study includes annual interviews with approximately 30 to 40 student participants, including mentor teachers, supervisors, and program staff, followed by transcription and analysis using qualitative analysis software. The part-time Senior Research Scientist will also be responsible for drafting the annual summary of the analysis and other findings of the project.
