    • Assistant Director of Academic and Community Programming in Gambier, OH

      The Brown Family Environmental Center at Kenyon College is accepting applications for a new position: the Assistant Director of Academic and Community Programming.  This position is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all resources required to meet the needs of a broad range of audiences on and off campus.  This position will create, coordinate and deliver educational programming and events for BFEC and Kenyon Farm including academic engagement for Kenyon classes and other local universities, Kenyon’s new Pathways initiative, and co-curricular engagement for Kenyon students.  This position will create, coordinate and deliver educational programming and events for the wider Knox County community, including but not limited to elementary field trips.  This position will work closely with the BFEC/Farm Director and the Farm Manager to develop a vision for educational programming at both venues. This position is full-time with benefits.  We have guaranteed funding for 3 years with the possibility of extending.  The Brown Family Environmental Center (BFEC) at Kenyon College exists to engage Central Ohioans of all ages with nature, and to support the goals of Kenyon College by conserving the natural diversity of the Kokosing River valley and providing opportunities for education and research.  The Kenyon Farm focuses on sustainable food systems, regenerative food production, and experiential learning. The Farm engages the Kenyon community in a small-scale farming operation within the context of a liberal arts education and supports the academic values of Kenyon College.

    • Campus Safety Officer, Part Time in Gambier, OH

      Kenyon College is conducting a search for a qualified candidate to fill the position of Campus Safety Officer, Part-Time. The Office of Campus Safety is a 24/7 operation. Hours worked per week and shifts worked will be dependent on coverage needs, including night time hours, weekends and possibly holidays. The rate of pay is $20.00 per hour between the hours of 7:00am to 5:00pm, $21.50 between the hours of 5:00pm to 7:00am. Part-Time Campus Safety Officers receive double their hourly pay rate when scheduled to work a shift during recognized college holidays. This is a collectively bargained position and without benefits.

    • Electrician in Gambier, OH

      Kenyon College is conducting a search for an Electrician. Primary duties include: Use generally accepted techniques and procedures of the electrical trade to perform journey level electrical inspections, installations, maintenance, trouble-shooting, repair and/or renovation of electrical distribution and other wiring systems, including fittings, fixtures, equipment and related controls for fire alarm, audio, data, telephone and television systems. The hourly rate of pay for this full-time with benefits position is $30.19/hour. This position is on a Progressive Wage Rate with an increase each year until it caps out at the beginning of the third full year of employment at $37.65. Work days are Tuesday – Saturday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. with a one (1) hour unpaid lunch.

      Kenyon College is seeking applications for an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Programmer Analyst. The ERP Programmer Analyst is a member of the Information Technology (IT) department that supports college enterprise data systems and their data integrations. The ERP Programmer Analyst engages with the campus community, performing duties that include system and database management, integration, and analysis. The ERP Programmer Analyst creates and maintains custom system integrations that connect and synchronize data between enterprise software systems and performs the detailed analysis needed to implement these integrations effectively across a combination of campus and cloud infrastructure. The ERP Programmer Analyst must interact extensively across departments to support the mission of the College. Reporting to the Director of Institutional Data Systems, the ERP Programmer Analyst is supported by the IT Leadership team in the Information Technology department.
