Electrician in Gambier, OH
Kenyon College is conducting a search for a qualified candidate to fill the position of Electrician. The qualified candidate will use generally accepted techniques and procedures of the electrical trade to perform journey level electrical inspections, installations, maintenance, trouble-shooting, repair and/or renovation of electrical distribution and other wiring systems, including fittings, fixtures, equipment and related controls for fire alarm, audio, data, telephone and television systems. The hourly rate of pay for this full-time with benefits position is $30.19/hour. This position is on a Progressive Wage Rate with an increase each year until it caps out at the beginning of the third full year of employment at $37.65. Work days are Tuesday – Saturday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. with a one (1) hour unpaid lunch.

Kenyon College Teacher-Scholar Science Fellowship in Gambier, OH
Kenyon College, a highly selective, nationally ranked liberal arts college in central Ohio, where academic excellence goes hand in hand with a strong sense of community, invites applications for a Teacher-Scholar Fellowship in the sciences, beginning July 1st 2026. The Kenyon College Teacher-Scholar Fellowship in the sciences program is for scholars who have recently completed their doctoral work (no more than five years past the PhD graduation date) and are at the postdoctoral level. We hope the experience of teaching, researching, and living for two years at Kenyon will encourage these Teacher-Scholars to consider a liberal arts college as a place to begin their careers as teachers and scholars. Fellowships will be awarded in: Biology, Neuroscience, Psychology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics as well as in interdisciplinary work that bridges departments (e.g., Biochemistry, Environmental Science). Kenyon College, a highly selective, nationally ranked liberal arts college in central Ohio, invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor in the Interdisciplinary Program in Computing beginning in July, 2026. We seek a dynamic teacher-scholar whose work bridges computing with other disciplines, whether in the sciences, social sciences, arts, or humanities. This is an open-field search. While candidates with doctorates in computer science or closely related fields are encouraged to apply, we also welcome applicants from other disciplines who have a strong record of computationally engaged scholarship and teaching in emerging fields such as digital humanities, computational social science, computationally intensive natural sciences, or creative computing in the arts. Assistant Professor of Asian Art History in Gambier, OH
Kenyon College is inviting applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Asian Art History. Candidates must have expertise in the art, architecture, and visual culture of any geographic region in pre-1900 Asia and possess a demonstrated ability and desire to teach courses in many areas of Asian art. We seek a creative colleague who can immediately contribute to our curriculum. Applicants must be interested in offering a fresh, global perspective on permanent courses, including the Introduction to Asian Art, and developing intermediate and advanced-level courses on the art, architecture, and visual culture of East Asia, South Asia, or Southeast Asia. We are interested in teacher-scholars who can offer creative ways to engage with the Department’s Visual Resources Center, our Study Collection (https://digital.kenyon.edu/arthistorystudycollection/), and regional art museums. The candidate will also have an opportunity to work with advanced art history majors on Honors projects and advise students pursuing the Asian and Middle East Studies interdisciplinary major. The Kenyon Review seeks a Director of Youth Programming and Fellowships to lead the design, administration, and strategic development of educational initiatives that advance the mission of The Kenyon Review and reinforce its unique role within Kenyon College’s literary and academic community. The Director will be responsible for overseeing existing signature programs—including the Young Writers Workshops (residential and online), Kenyon Review Fellowships, and the Associates and Internship program for Kenyon undergraduates. The Director is also responsible for developing new programming that enhances The Kenyon Review’s international reputation and supports the College’s commitment to high-impact experiential learning.
