Kenyon College, a nationally prominent residential liberal arts college in central Ohio, invites applications for Assistant / Senior Assistant Director of Admissions positions (title dependent on experience). These are full-time, 12-month positions in the Office of Admissions and report to senior members of the admissions leadership team.

The Assistant / Senior Assistant Director of Admissions will join a highly collaborative and student-centered enrollment division during an exciting period of innovation and strategic growth. Working from Lowell House - a newly renovated admissions center at the heart of campus - staff members participate in a deeply team-oriented environment focused on relationship-building, thoughtful recruitment, and the careful shaping of each entering class.

The successful candidates will participate fully in all phases of the recruitment and selection process. Responsibilities include managing a geographic recruitment territory; counseling and advising prospective students and families through the college search and application process; conducting interviews, presentations, and outreach programs; cultivating relationships with school counselors and community-based organizations; and evaluating applications for first-year admission.

The recruitment portfolio includes significant travel (approximately 8–10 weeks annually), along with evening and weekend responsibilities throughout the admissions cycle.

An understanding of and appreciation for the mission of a residential liberal arts college are essential, including a commitment to working with students and families from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences. A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required.

Employment at Kenyon is contingent upon a successful background check. A valid driver’s license is required, and candidates must be eligible for Kenyon driver certification.
