Kenyon College seeks an experienced, creative, and highly organized admissions professional to serve as Associate Director of Admissions and Event Coordinator. This is a full-time, 12-month position in the Office of Admissions and reports to senior members of the admissions leadership team.
Associate Director of Admissions and Event Coordinator will join a highly collaborative and student-centered Enrollment Division during an exciting period of innovation and strategic growth. Working from Lowell House - a newly renovated admissions center at the heart of campus - staff members participate in a deeply team-oriented environment focused on relationship-building, thoughtful recruitment, and the careful shaping of each entering class.
Associate Director of Admissions and Event Coordinator plays a central role in shaping how prospective students and families experience Kenyon College. This individual leads the planning and execution of a broad range of enrollment events (15–20 annually) designed to engage students at every stage of the enrollment funnel. The position requires exceptional organizational ability, creativity, sound judgment, and a deeply collaborative spirit. Successful candidates will understand that enrollment events are not simply logistical exercises, but meaningful opportunities to reflect the College’s values, culture, academic community, and distinctive sense of place.
The successful candidate will be highly organized, systems-oriented, attentive to detail, and capable of managing multiple complex projects simultaneously with warmth, professionalism, and flexibility. They will demonstrate a strong understanding of the emotional and practical dimensions of the college search process and a genuine desire to support students and families as they navigate important decisions. The role requires thoughtful collaboration with colleagues across the Enrollment Division and throughout the College, including faculty, staff, students, and senior leadership.
This individual serves as a key ambassador for the Enrollment Division and will be expected to embody Divisional values of collaboration, responsiveness, partnership, kindness, and institutional stewardship. The successful candidate will also possess the aesthetic sensibility to design programs and experiences that thoughtfully reflect the character of Kenyon College and the Graham Gund Lowell House environment.

An understanding of and appreciation for the mission of a residential liberal arts college are essential, including a commitment to working with students and families from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences. A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required.
