Kenyon College invites applications for the position of Assistant Softball Coach. This is a full time, 10-month reporting position with benefits. Under the general direction of the Head Softball Coach, this coach will be responsible for assisting in all facets of the NCAA D-III Softball program in accordance and compliance with NCAA, NCAC, and Kenyon College policies and regulations. The Assistant Softball Coach contributes to success in the following areas : recruiting qualified student-athletes, ensuring a positive student-athlete experience, day-to-day operations, and successful and positive coaching of softball student-athletes. Additional responsibilities will be assigned in game management, teaching, and/or administration. It is also expected that the Assistant Softball Coach will embrace the department mission of fostering learning and developing community with a focus on the values of citizenship, competition, resiliency, sportsmanship, and teamwork within Kenyon’s unique campus culture. The successful candidate Competitive candidates will have plans for an active research program rooted in experimental inorganic methods, broadly defined, and a commitment to teaching excellence. Candidates with additional experience or disciplinary connections in environmental chemistry, computational chemistry, or biochemistry are especially encouraged to apply.
