The Special Projects Administrator plays a critical role in supporting the execution of organizational goals and fostering the long-term stability of the organization. Reporting to the Editor of The Kenyon Review, this full-time role is central to ensuring the ongoing excellence, growth, and impact of KR’s adult workshop and programs.

    • Assistant Professor of International Studies in Gambier, OH

      The Department of International Studies at Kenyon College, a highly selective, nationally-ranked liberal arts college in central Ohio, invites applications for a tenure-track position beginning July 1, 2026. We seek a social scientist with a degree in either sociology, political science, or anthropology, whose regional focus is on Sub-Saharan Africa or the Middle East and Northern Africa, with a demonstrated commitment to interdisciplinary research and teaching. The successful candidate would be appointed in International Studies, and expected to teach an interdisciplinary course in methods, sophomore and senior-level interdisciplinary seminars, and courses in their disciplinary department. Candidates should also demonstrate their commitment to a career in the liberal arts. We will prioritize candidates with a strong record of teaching excellence; a commitment to student advising and mentorship; and plans to incorporate student researchers into their research programs. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in hand or be near completion by the beginning of the appointment (July 2026).       Kenyon College seeks to fill a tenure-track position at the assistant professor level in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics beginning July 2026. A Ph.D. in statistics is required, as well as prior teaching experience, preferably at a U.S. college or university or an equivalent institution. Scholars in all areas of statistics are encouraged to apply. The successful applicant will expand and enhance the statistics course offerings of the department. Our department has a strong commitment to student-centered learning; thus, we are particularly interested in candidates with experience in active learning pedagogies.
