Job Duties:

• Maintain and manage the project database to ensure timely identification of issues giving rise to variations including collation of supporting information / documentation within your area of responsibility.
• Support the Commercial Manager in creating high quality, detailed BOQ documentation to substantiate claims for any variations in scope of work and valuation of the variations.
• Where change occurs analyze the tender quantities with the change team and advise the Commercial Manager of the potential for re rating of BOQ items. Including build up of new rates from first principles.
• Support the Commercial Manager in issuing timely notices to the client under the Contract.
• Coordinate with the wider project team to provide detailed particulars and substantiation necessary to allow early agreement of variation claims.

Job Requirements:

• Degree holder in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
• Experience in the large infrastructure project / building project / M&E project
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English
