Duck Athletic Fund Communications Director in Eugene, OR
Working closely with the Assistant Athletic Director, Development and Athletic Department Marketing Team, the communications director will support the execution of Duck Athletic Fund and Athletic Ticket Office marketing and communications initiatives including emerging annual giving campaigns, digital marketing, and brand development. The principal responsibility of the communications director is to coordinate, create, develop, and implement marketing campaigns to attract, acquire and retain donors and ticket office customers through print, social media, email, and web-based marketing channels. This position will assist and manage the Duck Athletic Fund’s brand and communication strategy in alignment with the department’s overall brand strategy. The communications director will also support fundraising efforts, including direct mail, email, crowdfunding, day of giving, and annual giving stewardship. Additionally, the communications director will be responsible for the design and production of DAF and ticket office collateral materials including letters, emails, proposals, event invitations and stewardship pieces. This position will also oversee the Duck Athletic Fund/Athletic Ticket Office website, social media, and other creative digital opportunities. Special Requirements: • Valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain UO Drivers Certification. • Must also be willing to work weekends and have occasional travel.
