About the role

This exciting opportunity will see you joining our exceptional team in our Ipswich or Toowoomba office. We are dedicated to providing tailored advice and legal services. Our team works hard to deliver a personalised service, empathetic support and the best possible legal outcomes for all of our clients in these difficult times. Now that’s a role with purpose.

We are looking for a Associate or Senior Associate with a strong client service focus, personable approach, and commitment to social justice. We are looking for someone with 3+ years post admission experience, and welcome applications from individuals who are technical experts in personal injuries law who are passionate about mentoring, supervising, and developing the technical skills of junior lawyers. You will be responsible for overseeing the technical performance of the lawyers directly reporting to you. You will provide guidance and support to help team members build their expertise in personal injuries law, set clear technical performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and implement training to enhance the technical skills and knowledge of the lawyers directly reporting to you.

We are looking for someone who:

• Works effectively with others and fosters positive relationships;
• Has a strong client and relationship building skills;
• Contributes to technical team success and collaborates seamlessly;
• Is resourceful, you find creative solutions and adapt to challenges;
• Is determined and motivated to make a difference, driving successful outcomes;
• Is client focused with a genuine passion for helping people;
• Prior experience in Workers’ Compensation, Public Liability and CTP Claims;
• Knowledge of the relevant procedural rules relevant to Personal Injuries.

You will bring your experience in:

• 3+ Years PAE predominantly in personal injuries;
• Review and analysis of records;
• Drafting written communications to clients;
• Drafting court documents;
• Attending court for procedural hearings;
• Deeply understanding clients’ needs.
