About the Role

We are currently seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our Brisbane office as a Business Services and Reception Supervisor on a 18 month fixed-term contract. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a small but close-knit group of professionals in providing accurate and timely business services support.

In this crucial role, no two days are the same. You will have the opportunity to showcase your leadership skills while supporting all areas of the business. Reporting directly to the Facilities and Services Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office and delivering exceptional service to our clients and employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading the Business Services and Reception function for Brisbane office
  • Provide coaching and guidance to the business services team members
  • Ensuring general office management and oversight
  • Support with facilities related enquiries
  • Liaising with building management for all tenancy and security related issues alongside the Facilities Team
  • Monitoring and arranging continued servicing and maintaining all office supplies
  • Ensuring court documents are filed, collected and banking carried out each day
  • Event/conference management
  • Supporting and administering costing functions for our legal practice teams

The experience we are looking for 

  • Friendly and easy going, ‘can do’ attitude
  • Experience in the supervision and positive development of staff
  • Highly developed written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to liaise and communicate effectively with a wide range of client groups
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Experience in event management beneficial
