About the role
An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated and experienced Legal Assistant to join our Wills and Estates team on a full-time, permanent basis, based in our Sydney CBD office.
In this role, you will provide direct support to a pod lawyer and Senior Associate, both located in Sydney. While prior experience in the legal sector—particularly in Wills and Estates—is highly regarded, we also welcome applications from law students at the beginning of their studies who are eager to gain hands-on experience in a supportive legal environment.

Key Responsibilities
As a Legal Assistant in our Wills and Estates team, you will:
- Provide timely and accurate updates to clients, ensuring clear communication and effective expectation management
- Manage the full lifecycle of client files, from opening to closure, with a high level of organisation and attention to detail
- Draft and prepare professional client correspondence and legal documents
- Process and action all incoming mail promptly and efficiently
- Prepare and issue client invoices accurately and in line with internal guidelines
- Perform a range of general administrative duties to support the team’s day-to-day operations

- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues
- Sound judgement and the ability to escalate issues appropriately when required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
