About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Legal Assistant to join our Road Injuries (TAC) team at our Reservoir office on a 12-month fixed term contract. In this pivotal role, you will embody our core values, deliver exceptional client service, and provide leadership and mentorship to members of our legal support team.

Your responsibilities will include providing high-level legal and administrative assistance, fostering collaboration across the team, and supporting professional development within a positive and high-performing work environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide high-level legal and administrative support to a well-established legal team.
  • Lead and mentor legal support staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

  • Proactively support team operations to ensure efficiency and maintain high standards of performance.
  • Offer confidential and professional assistance to a Principal Lawyer within a leading national law firm.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Consistently uphold our commitment to outstanding client service.

What we’re looking for

To thrive in this role, you’ll bring:

  • Previous experience as a Legal Assistant in Personal Injuries or a similar legal field. Experience in Road Injuries (TAC) matters is highly desirable.
  • Solid understanding of legal and court procedures.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a methodical approach to your work.
  • A growth mindset with a focus on business development and continuous improvement.
  • A proactive and collaborative attitude, with proven leadership capabilities.
  • Strategic thinking skills to anticipate and plan for future priorities.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and work independently.
  • A professional and client-focused approach, with discretion in handling confidential matters.
  • A track record of working autonomously while contributing to team goals.
