Join Harvey Norman's Furniture division as an Operations Analyst and play a key role in supporting business performance through reporting, analysis and operational coordination.
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly analytical professional who enjoys working with data, identifying trends and helping drive informed business decisions across a national retail operation.
About the Role:
This role provides operational, reporting and analytical support to the Furniture division through business reporting, performance analysis, project coordination and process improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare reports, forecasts, presentations to support business planning & decision-making.
- Analyse sales performance, marketing campaigns, promotional activity & market trends.
- Develop recommendations from internal systems, supplier reports and store data.
- Identify process, data quality and operational improvement opportunities.
- Support budgeting, KPI tracking, product performance & management reporting processes.
- Coordinate departmental projects, conferences and operational initiatives.
- Assist with warranty provisions, supplier rebates and associated reporting activities.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across stores, management, suppliers and support office teams.
About You:
You are a detail-oriented analyst who enjoys transforming data into meaningful business insights and recommendations.
Attributes we are looking for include:
- Experience preparing reports and analysing business performance data.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong spreadsheet capability.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word and Outlook.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Retail or commercial industry experience (desirable).
