About the role

We have an opportunity for an experienced Senior Electrical Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in achieving successful technical and drawing deliverable outcomes leading to successful projects.

As a member of the Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls team you will work closely with the Lead Electrical Engineer, Lead Instrumentation Engineer, and other Engineers/Designers within the team. You will ensure the delivery of allocated projects whilst maintaining the Company’s reputation for high-quality services and safety in design practices.

The role

• Contribute to effective technical and business outcomes.
• Technical input in the execution of drawings, reporting, and close-out of projects within the electrical and instrumentation area of specialisation.
• Effective communication with team members to ensure work is delivered efficiently to a high technical standard making the best use of past projects, templates, procedures, standards, and codes of practice.
• Manage and execute allocated project tasks.
• Adhere to project budgets and schedules.

 What you will bring to the team:

• Demonstrated experience in the planning and management of work activities.
• Comprehensive knowledge of current AutoCAD and industry trends.
• Previous experience in a similar role and mining industry design experience is highly desirable.
