The opportunity

Our Communications and Brand team is seeking an experienced Communications Lead to work closely with various business units to shape, execute and evaluate internal and external communications activities that strengthen and safeguard the MinRes brand.

This role is based on a Monday to Friday roster, at our head office in Osborne Park on a 12 month fixed term contract. 

Your primary responsibilities

  • Contribute content for a range of corporate collateral including annual and sustainability reports, capability statements, project updates, internal communications, case studies, presentations employee communications and more.
  • Translate complex information into clear, compelling narratives and visuals, tailored for diverse audiences (employees, media, government, partners, investors, communities).
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with brand voice.
  • Support the development of executive presentations, speeches and thought leadership pieces.
  • Champion best-practice content for all channels: website, intranet, media, events, investor relations, internal newsletters, and stakeholder briefings.
  • Coordinate with creative, digital and external agencies to bring collateral to life through print, video and digital assets.
  • Measure the impact of key communications and make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Stay across industry trends, corporate affairs best practice and evolving stakeholder needs.

What is required

Our ideal candidate will bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications in in the fields of Communications, Marketing or related discipline
  • Strong experience in a communications, PR, or corporate affairs role – ideally in mining/resources, engineering, infrastructure, or complex industrial sectors.
  • Proven ability to translate technical or operational content into content that’s digestible and aligned to target audiences.
  • Outstanding writing, editing and storytelling capability across print, digital, presentation and video formats.
  • Demonstrated expertise managing collateral development for multiple channels: corporate website, intranet, internal/external newsletters, events and investor communications.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills: you can partner, brief and consult with executives, technical teams and external agencies.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to quality and brand alignment.
  • Strong project management skills to meet deadlines, establish clear priorities quickly and bring projects to completion on time
  • Confidence to work independently and drive engagement with colleagues
  • Proficiency in using MS Office suite and SharePoint
