The opportunity

MinRes is seeking an experienced Content Advisor to drive our social media strategy and content presence for a 12-month fixed-term contract.

We’re looking for someone with the skills and experience to translate business, communications and brand priorities into compelling content that drives reach and engagement across our channels.

Reporting to the Communications Manager, you will set the direction and run a rolling content plan to connect with the communities that follow us.

What you will do

• Develop channel strategy and set clear objectives for each of our social channels, then refine your approach using performance data and audience insights.
• Plan and manage a rolling plan and calendar of high-quality, consistent multimedia content.
• Create, schedule and publish content, ensuring accuracy and channel-appropriate presentation across organic posts, resharing and cross-channel distribution.
• Report on social sentiment and channel performance and keep the team across emerging trends and platform changes.
• Monitor conversations and apply our social media acceptable use policy, moderating and escalating through endorsed processes.
• Work with the Digital Lead to meet platform governance, privacy and accessibility requirements.
• Support distribution of other digital content across our internal and external platforms, as needed.

What you will bring

• A degree in communications, marketing, digital media or a related field, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
• Demonstrated experience developing social media strategy and producing content campaigns, including setting channel objectives and a publishing cadence.
• Demonstrated experience developing social media strategy and producing content campaigns, including setting channel objectives and a publishing cadence.
• Strong experience managing social media channels for a large or complex organisation, including LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram.
• Ability to tailor tone and style to specific channels and audiences while aligning with corporate brand and language guidelines.
• Experience developing and applying community management guidelines or acceptable use policies, including moderation and escalation.
• Sound judgement in managing sensitive or critical comments.
• Practical experience with content planning, scheduling and analytics tools.
• Ability to work independently, set priorities and meet deadlines.
