Our team is growing and we are currently seeking people to join us in the position of Executive Reception Team Lead to work onsite at our national banking client’s head office in the Melbourne CBD.  In this key role, you will be leading a team of Workplace Hosts/Corporate Concierge to deliver a seamless client experience on the executive floor.

 

The Executive Reception Team Lead will embody a passion for excellence and will be driven by the desire to provide each encounter enjoyable, exciting and personal and lead a team sharing those same values to ensure the swift and efficient turnaround of rooms within the meeting and event space to maximise productivity and utilisation.

As this is a site based role, the successful candidate will be working closely with a wide range of key stakeholders including the Executive Assistants on the floor.

 

The Position:

  • Lead and inspire a high-performing team of Workplace Hosts to deliver a friendly and engaging welcome experience and customer service, meeting all client expectations and acting as the face of our customer brand.
  • Manage all VIP meet and greet services for visitors to the Executive Floor, liaising with and proactively communicating with the Reception/Concierge Desk at ground floor entry level.

  • Be the glue that holds it together – Coordinate moving parts, ensuring smooth operations while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Foster strong relationships with the client and key stakeholders through effective communication and regular meetings, ensuring their needs are met with the highest standards of service.
  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly inspections to ensure maximum cleanliness and security. Record and address any maintenance and cleanliness issues promptly, and lead monthly walkthroughs with key stakeholders.

Minimum criteria:

  • At least 5-7 years' experience in Workplace, hospitality, and stakeholder management.
  • Experience managing a team, rostering, delegation in Workplace Operations
  • Experience in a customer service role with an outstanding track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to be discreet and demonstrate confidentiality when required
  • Professional C-suite engagement skills
  • Immaculate personal presentation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Capable of learning and adapting to new systems
  • Maintain composure and effectiveness in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Strong proficiency in computer applications
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment, fostering strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Hands-on leader who is willing to get involved in all aspects of operations, setting a positive example for the team.
  • Exceptional time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive problem-solver who anticipates challenges and implements creative solutions, while adapting to changing priorities with ease.
