ISS Facility Services is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Leading Hand to join our Cleaning team in a Full-Time role, supporting our client who acts as one of the largest tertiary educators in Australia.
The role will be based at our client’s site south of the Brisbane CBD.

This role will support our Facilities Management Team to ensure smooth daily operations and site maintenance of the campus, developing and facilitating quality control measures and supporting a team and ensuring conditions are met. As well as to undertake general administrative tasks, this role includes the tracking of cleaning work end-to-end through in-house system.

The Position:

• Responsible for leading a team of 20+
• Assisting supervisor and support the cleaning team 
• Carry out cleaning inspection, be responsible for Quality Control and service rotations
• Receive and respond to emails
• Issuing and Managing staff rosters, time sheet
• Review stock levels and complete the orders
• Maintenance of cleaning records and compliance standards
• Delivery of excellent customer service and positive communication to all customers

Minimum Criteria:

• Experience in cleaning operations; domestic, commercial or industrial
• Demonstrated sound knowledge in floor maintenance and high level cleaning with an eye for detail
• National Police clearance, within 3 months of issue
• Self motivated and can demonstrate initiative on the job
• Professional presentation and customer service
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service and management.
• Must have blue card or willing to obtain
