Our ISS Health Team is growing and we are currently seeking people to join us in the position of Support Services Attendant/Ward Support at Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
This Full Time role will work on a 6 week overnight roster, Wednesday to Sunday from 10pm to 6.06am the next day, with 2 days in the 6 weeks working 9am to 5.06pm.
Support Services Attendant:
The Support Service Attendant (SSA) is a multi-discipline role encompassing performing the following duties;
- Patient Movement and Co-ordination Service
- Transporting patients across the hospital site as directed
- Assist with transportation of medical equipment
- Collection and delivery of records and documentation
- Assist with transportation of equipment across the site
- Follow all infection prevention protocols
- Adhere to correct manual handling procedures and WHS practices

Minimum Criteria:
- Evidence of immunisation for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Influenza, Tetanus, Pertussis, Diptheria, Hep B, Polio
- Flexibility to work the required rotational roster.
- Physically fit and able to undertake the physical nature of the role.
- Current Police Clearance no older than 12 months is essential
- Current DHS Working with Children Check (WWCC) is essential
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and drive to deliver strong customer service
