The opportunity :

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Management Accountant to support the Resources & Education Division in Perth, WA. In this role, you will deliver accurate and timely financial reporting, provide valuable insights to drive profitability, and support operational excellence. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you’ll be part of a dynamic team that embraces continuous improvement, values professional growth, and contributes directly to the success of a global organisation.

  • Providing generalist accounting services to site stakeholders
  • Preparation of Month End in an accurate and timely manner
  • Preparation of Monthly Reporting Packs
  • Develop and review the consolidated annual budgets, estimates and forecasts, to meet corporate compliance obligations and ensure that they are accurate and achievable
  • Assist in the preparation of Annual budgets with the Department Heads and the General Manager.
  • Develop and improve company accounting guidelines
  • Develop systems and initiatives to improve financial performance and reporting for the divisions site locations
  • Monitor the Debtors balance
  • Implement procedures to recover outstanding debts.
  • Perform monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts.
  • Supply all departments with accurate statistical information on a timely basis.
  • Corporate EOM reporting (Onesteam/HFM)
  • Cash flow and collection management
  • Manage and supply the Monthly P&L Statement
  • Manage and assist in the delivery of Capital Expenditure forecasts
  • Daily Revenue Report
  • Manage AR/AP functions
  • Fortnightly Wage Analysis Report
  • Market Segment Analysis
  • Market Share Analysis
  • Supply operations with accurate statistical information on a timely basis.
  • Ensure all accounts are paid with the suppliers credit limits.
  • Assist, advise, and collate monthly invoicing
  • Ensure all outgoing accounts are sent with appropriate documentation, addressed and valued correctly, and dispatched on a timely basis.
  • Cooperate with all other departments offering support information on finance matters as required.
  • Adherence to Emergency Communication procedures ensuring that enquiries from the media are only responded to by the nominated spokesperson
  • Strive to implement the ISS Vision and demonstrate active use of ISS Values.

To be considered:

  • Bachelor of Accounting / Commerce (or higher)
  • Must be CA or CPA qualified 
  • Minimum of 3 years Professional work Experience in Mangement Accounting 
  • Highly Proficient in MS Excel, Power BI and Power Query 
  • Knowledgeable in using Navision, UKG (Kronos), COUPA 
  • System administration and Recordkeeping skills
  • Sound numerical competency
  • Highly developed attention to detail
  • Full Working rights in Australia
