ISS is seeking a reliable and experienced Coach/Bus Driver to join our team at Dugald River Mine Camp in the role of Bus Driver / Utility All-Rounder. This is a key position supporting the day-to-day operation of the village, ensuring the safe and efficient transport of personnel while contributing to a positive on-site experience.
In this role, you will be responsible for airport transfers and on-site transport. Outside of driving duties, you will assist across other village operations including housekeeping, cleaning and catering support as required.
This is a full-time FIFO opportunity, working a 2 weeks on / 1 week off roster, flying from Brisbane or Townsville. Dugald River Mine is one of the world’s leading zinc operations, located in North Queensland approximately 65 km north-west of Cloncurry.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport personnel around site and complete transfers between site and Mt Isa or Cloncurry Airports
- Support village operations during non-driving periods, including housekeeping, cleaning and catering assistance
- Deliver a high standard of customer service, creating a friendly and welcoming environment for residents
- Ensure vehicles are maintained, cleaned and presented to a high standard
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure safety and regulatory compliance
- Maintain accurate trip and passenger records
- Comply with site driving accreditations, fatigue management and all safety requirements
Minimum Criteria:
- Minimum 3 years’ professional bus driving experience
- Current Australian HR or MR licence and QLD Passenger Transport Driver Authorisation (essential)
- Flexible team player willing to assist across multiple operational areas
- Strong understanding of safety, compliance and risk management
- Excellent communication skills and a positive, service-focused attitude
- Ability to work effectively in a remote and fast-paced environment
- Physically fit and able to pass pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing
