We are seeking an experienced Cleaning Services Manager to lead the delivery of high‑quality General and Technical Cleaning Services and Waste Services at a major Pharmaceutical facility. This is a critical role supporting a highly regulated biotech and production environment, where precision, compliance, and exceptional service standards are non‑negotiable.

About the Role

The Cleaning Services Manager is responsible for ensuring the highest possible standard of cleaning and waste services across production areas, warehouses, and cleanroom laboratories. You will oversee daily operations, manage rosters, support and monitor frontline teams, maintain accurate records, and ensure strict adherence to site‑specific protocols.

This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong leadership capability, and the ability to communicate complex technical requirements clearly to frontline staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build strong, professional relationships with the client and site tenants.

  • Promote a strong safety mindset within the team, especially in high‑risk technical cleaning environments.

  • Ensure efficient service delivery aligned with budget and Operational Excellence targets.

  • Lead the team to deliver exceptional cleaning outcomes while maintaining strict biotech and cleanroom protocols.

  • Provide ongoing training, coaching, and support to frontline team members.

Essential Competencies

  • Strong understanding of cleaning, infection control, and quarantine requirements in biotech or production environments.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in cleaning management.
  • Proven experience in stakeholder management and building strong, productive relationships. 
  • High customer focus, strong results orientation.
  • Ability to drive
  • Ability to obtain a clear Police Check, no older than 12 months.
