The opportunity:

We are hiring DIDO (Drive In / Drive Out) Minesite Cleaning Supervisors from Mackay, Emerald and the surrounding regions on a fulltime 14/7 roster.

Working closely with the Village Manager, you'll be responsible for coordinating and managing the day-to-day Minesite Cleaning services —while proudly upholding ISS’s reputation for excellence.

  • Competitive Annual Wage – $85,000 - $90,000 plus super
  • Meals, accommodation and uniforms included whilst on site (Steel cap boots included)

Key Duties

  • Implement and control the department budget.
  • Implement and review service standards.
  • Assist the Human Resources team in the recruitment and selection of team members.
  • Ensure effectiveness of training, performance evaluations and counselling of staff for the department.
  • Ensure a strong interface with Front Office and other managers as required.
  • Provide leadership, support and coordinate site staff in maintaining a customer focused and safe working environment.

To be considered:

  • Minimum 2yrs proven management/supervisor experience.
  • Polished presentation and communication abilities.
  • Proven leadership skills and a strong decision-making capability.
  • Lead by example and model behaviours that underpin a constructive safety culture.
  • Confident user of MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
  • Unrestricted work rights in Australia.
  • Must have a valid police check issued within the last 12 months or be willing to obtain one.
  • Must pass a Pre-employment Medical Test, Functional Assessment and Drug and Alcohol Screen.
  • Driver's License/ Photo ID required.
  • Demonstrate a proactive, solutions-focused approach with excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills to ensure smooth operations.
