Expression of Interest – FIFO Chef Specialising in Traditional Chinese Cuisine

We are seeking talented Chefs with expertise in Traditional Chinese Cuisine to join our team on a Fly-In-Fly-Out (FIFO) basis from Perth Airport to our remote sites across Western Australia. Working closely with the Head Chef, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality meals across Breakfast, Crib, and Dinner services, while upholding ISS’s reputation for excellence and creating memorable dining experiences that consistently exceed expectations.

To be considered:

  • Culinary Expertise - Demonstrated experience and skill in preparing Traditional Chinese dishes.

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience preparing specialised Chinese cuisine
  • Must have Australian Trade Qualification of Commercial Cookery Certificate 3 or higher
  • Proven experience as a chef in high-volume catering, including bulk meals and banquet or function service.
  • Experience in mining village operations (Desirable)
  • Must have with a strong ability to meet client expectations for food quality, presentation, and strict adherence to food safety and HACCP standards.
  • Unrestricted work rights in Australia
  • Must have a valid police check issued within the last 12 months or be willing to obtain one.
  • Must pass a Pre-employment Medical Test, Functional Assessment and Drug and Alcohol Screen.
  • Driver's License/ Photo ID required
  • Demonstrate a proactive, solutions-focused approach with excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills to ensure smooth operations.
