ISS is currently seeking an experienced Cleaning and Kitchen Supervisor to lead grounds and external maintenance services at our Rolleston mining village. This role is responsible for supervising daily grounds operations, ensuring contract compliance, safety leadership, and maintaining high presentation standards across the village. Candidates must be based in Cairns.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Supervise daily Housekeeping / Kitchen & Dinning  operations across the mining village
  • Ensure maintenance programs and schedules are delivered in line with contract requirements
  • Lead safety compliance, safe work practices, and risk management on site
  • Conduct inspections and report on grounds condition and required improvements
  • Allocate tasks, support training, and provide leadership to grounds team members
  • Assist with general hand, utility, and kitchen duties as required by site operations
  • Liaise with site management to ensure service delivery expectations are met
  • Uniform (including safety boots provided)
  • Meals and accommodation provided whilst on site

Minimum Criteria:

  • At least 2 years of Professional Leadership experience in Hospitality  
  • Full working rights in Australia
  • Current Australian Driver’s Licence and reliable transport to site
  • Strong understanding of Safe Work Practices
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-managed environment
  • Physically fit and conditioned to Central Queensland weather conditions
  • Ability to work effectively within a team
  • Commitment to safety and compliance with site standards
  • Ability to pass a functional pre-employment medical, Drug & Alcohol Test and Police Clearance
