About the Role
As Team Leader, you will be responsible for playing a key role in facilitating and ensuring our cleaning services meet the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. During the course of your nightly role, you will help lead a team of cleaners in executing their duties in addition to managing general day-to-day operations of the site, ensuring everything is maintained in compliance with the best practices relating to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the cleaning team within the office, ensuring tasks are completed to a high standard.
- Coordinate rosters, manage attendance, and arrange cover for absences.
- Keep an eye on active stock levels, facilitating the safe usage and storage of cleaning materials and equipment.
- Identify and escalate risks, safety issues, and operational challenges.
- Fill out and maintain site documentation, namely work-schedules, inspection reports and communication logs.
- Promote a culture of safety and compliance through regular toolbox talks and inspections.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning with a strong understanding of cleaning techniques, excellent communication styles and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and make sound operational decisions.
- Computer literacy and familiarity with scheduling and reporting tools is highly desired.
