We’re seeking an experienced Plumber & Gas Fitter to deliver high‑quality maintenance services across two modern education facilities in Adelaide’s southern and northern regions. This is a hands‑on, mobile role supporting a safe, compliant, and well‑maintained learning environment for students, staff, and visitors.
You’ll work as part of a collaborative, multi‑disciplinary team and partner closely with the Senior Caretakers at each site to ensure all plumbing and gas systems operate reliably and meet statutory requirements.
The Position:
- Respond promptly to customer requests for maintenance assistance
- Complete monthly Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) across both campuses.
- Maintain bore and sewer pumps, ensuring reliable operation and timely fault response.
- Attend to breakdowns, urgent repairs, and general plumbing issues as they arise.
- Clear blocked drains, maintain irrigation systems, and support water‑efficient site operations.
- Service and repair taps, fixtures, hot water units, and associated plumbing infrastructure.
- Travel regularly between both campuses throughout the week (vehicle provided or allowance available).

Minimum Criteria:
- Excellent Customer relationship skills and the ability to deal positively with difficult situations
- Able to carry out maintenance tasks with minimal supervision and direction
- Ability to deliver results under pressure
- Experience in Facilities Services including delivering maintenance within a corporate environment
- Trade qualification in Plumbing and current Gas Fitting licence
- Current driver’s licence and ability to travel between sites regularly
- Current (or willing to obtain) Police Check and Working With Children Check
