We’re seeking experienced industrial plumbers or boilermakers with a background in Maintenance and Preventative Water Pipeline works. You will bring a can-do attitude, teamwork, flexibility, and a strong commitment to safety and quality; Based in Blackwater, you will be working 10 hour days on a 9-day fortnight roster.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining our clients' assets, contributing to the smooth running of our operations. Working 10-hour days in a demanding, remote environment - means solid fitness and resilience is essential!

About the role:

Monitor and maintain pipelines

Inspect for leaks, corrosion, or damage along the pipeline route, pumps and motors.

Perform routine checks and preventative maintenance to ensure safe and efficient operation.

Operate valves, pumps, and associated equipment to control water flow.

Respond to alarms or issues promptly, including isolating sections for repair.

Keep accurate records of inspections, maintenance, and incidents.

Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Participate in an on-call roster once per month
What we are looking for:
- Current Trade Qualification in Plumbing and Gas Fitting OR Current Boiler Maker Trade (Queensland Trade Recognised)
- Demonstrated experience with Pipeline Maintenance
- Previous experience working in a facilities maintenance environment involving large volumes of assets and programmed servicing schedules.
- Current QLD Coal Board Medical
Essential Criteria:
- Must be located in Blackwater and able to work a 9 day fortnight, Mon-Fri week 1 and Mon-Thu week 2
- Must have an unrestricted QLD Driver’s Licence
- Must have a Construction White Card (CPCCOHS1001A - Work safely in the construction industry or CPCCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry) – card must be issued after 2015 to be accepted
- Must have a Police Clearance less than 12 months old
