We are currently seeking for Casual Cleaners to join our team at the Canberra Hospital to commit to working from Monday to Friday.

Availability:

• Monday to Friday 6:30am till 2:30pm - Emergency Department
• Monday to Friday 6:30am till 2:30pm - Casual Cleaning Roles

A Snapshot of your day:

• Cleaning of all areas; patient rooms, bathrooms, kitchens and common rooms
• Stocking of supplies and ordering as necessary
• Requires self motivation and integrity to work autonomously
• Maintenance of cleaning records and compliance standards
• Delivery of excellent customer service and positive communication to all customers
• Safe handling of chemical and/or hazardous substances in the performance of cleaning duties
• Identifying and recording any problems relating to cleaning services and/or safety

What you must have:

• Ability to travel to site
• Previous experience in a similar role within a health care facility is highly desirable
• Police Clearance within 12 months date of issue, or ability to obtain (Essential)
• ACT Working With Vulnerable People Card, or ability to obtain (Essential)
• Willingness to own and maintain a smart phone
• 3 doses of COVID vaccination and complete Immunisation history
